    Whatsup party people! Happy New Year! The Essex is about to kick off 2013 with a slammin, can’t miss show.

    Join us at Spike Hill in Williamsburg (L to Bedford) this Saturday 1/12. We’ll be joined by our favorite big band funkonauts, the MK Groove Orchestra, as well as our afro-funk brothers from Boston, The Macrotones. We recently supported The Mac at their album release show up in Beantown, so help us return the favor as we show them what Brooklyn is all about!

    The Essex is on at 10pm, but the music starts at 8, so come early and stay late!

  2. The Essex in Boston – Saturday 12/1

    Yo! You in Boston? Sweet. Come to Johnny D’s on December 1 for The Macrotones record release party. The Essex will be supporting our Bean Town brothers as they release DARVAZA into the wild. We hit at 10pm and The Mac will follow with two sets of afro-funk. See you there.
